Policies
WHEN BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT, IT IS MUTUALLY UNDERSTOOD THAT YOU HAVE READ, FULLY UNDERSTAND AND WILL COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING POLICIES.
All first-time clients are required to pay a $20 non-refundable deposit to secure your appointment. This will be applied to the total cost of your service. This can be sent to beautybuffstudio@gmail.com via e-transfer.
Payment
I accept cash, credit (Square Reader) or e-transfer (before leaving your appointment). Payment is due at time of service.
Late/No Show
If you are running late please call or text. Please note, I will have to adjust your service to stay on time. If you are more than 30 mins late, your appointment will be marked as "missed". If an appointment is missed, you will be responsible for 50% of the service. This must be paid before scheduling another appointment.
Cancellations/Reschedule
24 hours notice is required (a confirmation program is in place via text). If less than 12 hours notice is given, you will be responsible for 50% of the service. This must be paid before scheduling another appointment.
No children or extra guest at your appointment
Appointment Times
I take time to do quality work. Expect your nail appointment to take two hours + if receiving enhancements
Pedicure
Do not shave your legs 24-48 hours before your appointment. It's also a good idea to bring open toed shoes/sandals. I am unable to provide service on broken skin, fungus or warts on the feet or hands.
Medical/Skin Conditions
Please inform me of any skin conditions prior to your service, such as warts, fungus or open wounds on hands or feet. If any of the above are present, I will not provide the service to ensure the health and safety of myself and my clients. Please seek necessary treatment from a medical professional. I also ask that you inform me of any other medical/health conditions, allergies or if you require any special care for the duration of your services, as even the smallest conditions can interfere with your treatment.
Illness
If you are sick, please reschedule your appointment. If I am sick I will do my best to give adequate notice to reschedule your appointment as soon as my schedule allows.
Cellphones
Please limit your cellphone use during the appointment. I will need access to both hands to complete your set in a timely manner.
Food and Drink
No food please. Drinks are okay.
Infection Control and Sanitization
Cleanliness and sanitation are very important in the nail industry. Surfaces and implements are cleaned and sanitized as per Ontario Public Health guidelines. I also use disposable items such as files, buffers, sanding bands and pedicure liners for each client. Gloves are worn during necessary services.
I reserve the right to refuse service for any reason, including frequent cancellations, no shows, tardiness and failure to comply with the above policies.
